This year our family traveled back home to Colombia for Christmas. After our 2 day travel to get to Colombia we set off to the most beautiful town in all Colombia: Barichara. With roads of rock and houses of white Barichara holds on to its roots founded long ago. The drive up in itself was spectacular. We had to drive through the second biggest canyon in the world named el Chicamocha. 

It is the prettiest little town I have ever seen and would recommend for everyone to pay a visit at least once in their lifetime. The mix of salsa music blasting through the air with repeated white houses and a long valley in view makes for an exquisite place to travel and spend time with loved ones.
